Preparation Time: 1.5 hours
Ingredients:
2 Cups Flour
3 Eggs
1 Teaspoon Baking powder
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
As needed Water
Honey
2 teaspoons sugar
orange zest
cinnamon
crushed almonds
Cooking Instructions:
- Mix flour, eggs, baking powder, vanilla and water to a firm consistency.
- Making small balls, roll dough into a pencil thin rope and cut into small pieces.
- Making large balls, roll dough into a pencil thin rope and cut into 2” strips rap around two fingers.
- Seal both ends with egg white use fork to place in oil.
- Fry in deep pot of oil.
- Let cool before dressing with honey.
- Heat honey with two teaspoons sugar, orange rind, cinnamon, and crushed almonds to suit taste.
